Testify Foundation exists to put the Testify! board game into the hands of churches, schools, youth groups, hospitals and families, using it to advance faith, education, citizenship and relief of need.
Testify! was created as a Bible-based educational board game — a way to make biblical literacy active, social and genuinely fun to learn. Testify Foundation was established to take that game beyond a single family's living room and put it to work across whole communities: churches, schools, youth groups, hospitals and families, starting in the UK and growing into a truly global footprint.
The Foundation is structured as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) under the Charities Act 2011, governed by a Board of Trustees who hold overall responsibility for every activity we run.
Using Testify! to build biblical literacy and a living, practical understanding of Christian faith.
Game-based learning that develops teamwork, communication and critical thinking alongside biblical knowledge.
Bringing families, churches, schools and youth groups together through shared activities and events.
Free and subsidised access for individuals facing disadvantage due to youth, age, disability, ill-health or financial hardship.
The Board of Trustees maintains overall responsibility for all of Testify Foundation's activities. Day-to-day delivery may be carried out by volunteers, staff or partner organisations, but strategic oversight — legal compliance, financial controls, risk management and impact monitoring — stays with the trustees at all times.
Our work brings volunteers into contact with children, teenagers, youth and vulnerable adults — so safeguarding runs through everything we do, not as an afterthought.
A full Safeguarding Policy applies to every activity involving children and vulnerable adults, in line with Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) and the Charity Commission's CC30 guidance.
Volunteers in roles with regular or unsupervised contact with children complete an Enhanced DBS check and activity-specific safeguarding training before taking on a role.
Every volunteer knows our Designated Safeguarding Lead and how to raise a concern the same day it arises.
